This limited edition large format giclée print of Café, one of a series of watercolors that Rackow painted while in France studying with Fernand Leger, is made from the original watercolor.

Rackow was an American artist and illustrator working in the United States from 1928 to 1964 after studying in Paris with Fernand Leger.

Rackow designed posters for the United Nations, Rockefeller Center, Container Corporation of America, Macy's and cover designs for the New Yorker magazine. He designed and painted the globe in the lobby of the Daily News Building in New York City.
