This limited edition large format giclée print of a decorative motif by Serge Gladky is made from a pochoir plate that appeared in  "Paris 1928 - Librairie Des Arts Decoratifs”, a rare portfolio of plates documenting the European Arts Decoratifs from 1920-1936. The original art is believed to be either in a private collection or destroyed in WW II.

Using blue and green hues Gladky creates an emblem-like quality of of organic form and combinations. Serge Gladky, a prominent artist of the time and an early practitioner of abstract art was a French architect, designer and graphic artist who traveled throughout Europe and Asia for inspiration.
